Waoo! Mohamed Salah Of Liverpool Donates $3m To His Hometown Hospital
Mohamed Salah of Liverpool is not only a good left-foot football player also very good at heart.
It’s no longer in a doubt list as the Egypt international has proven Mohamed Salah’s whooping donation of $3million to the National Cancer Institute in Cairo after a suspected terrorist incident which took the lives of about 20 people.
Information has it that at about 47 other people were injured during the explosion in the Egyptian capital on Sunday evening.
It was as of a car driving at a high speed went in the wrong direction and crashed into three other cars outside the hospital.
Immediately after the incident, Liverpool FC star Salah made a post on hit twitter handle saying:
“My full support and condolences to the families of victims and victims of the explosion of the Oncology Institute.”
Mohamed Salah didn’t just end the post there, it was vividly reported that he made a donation to rebuild the hospital and fix most facilities damaged
The incident was said initially to be an act of accident but from the latest findings, it was gathered through the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s message of condolence to the victim which said otherwise as stated below:
“I extend my deepest condolences to the Egyptian people and the families of the martyrs killed in the cowardly terrorist incident in the vicinity of the Kasr al-Aini area yesterday evening,”
On the news front the Egyptian news outlet Youm7, Cairo University President Dr. Mohamed Osman Elkhosht, speaking in an interview with DMC, has reported Salah donated $3m (roughly £2.5m) to help rebuild the institute – roughly half of the expected cost of of damages.
Salah has a high profile already in Egypt as one of major donors to helping savor situations in the his community and country at large.
